Hello everyone. This is the heart I wove in Jude's Contemporary Woven Boro class. Everyone is doing such inspiring work. This heart was meant to go on a tree outside, but it's raining so today it's hanging on the plum blossoms from my neighbor's yard. Pot Roast is on the menu tonight...friends are coming over!
This is the latest in the trivet collection. Also being called Miniature Prayer Rugs. This one is called "seeds of tomorrow". I wanted to see what would happen if I put it through the hot cycle of a washing machine. This was not a great idea...presently it is smaller than it was and I had to work a bit to restore its good looks. Hand washing recommended...
That's all for now. Love to YOU...

love your heart suzanna. mine has been through rain, ice and snow and still looks ok. happy valentine's day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanna...I'm intending to put it outside...your words are encouraging...I just have to do it!
ReplyDeleteLove your boro heart suzanne. And the trivets too, you've made so many now! Is this a new path for you?
ReplyDeleteHi Penny, thank you! It is new...I finish one and then another suggests itself, and so I'm just rolling along with it. But the boro weaving is also occupying a big space...luckily right now there's time...
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous heart! Rich and bold!I love the incorporation of the diamand motifs.
ReplyDeleteHi Catherine...thanks! (diamonds are a girl's best friend...)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful heart! And I am loving the trivet. Especially because last week I dropped a very heavy iron trivet on my big toe! Makes me love this one even more!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lucinda...I hope your toe is ok. That sounds very painful...I send hearts...
