Moving forward

Hello everyone,
Today I'll give you a peek at the most recent makings. Awhile ago I mentioned the "cloth of unsettling events".  As soon as I took the photo I realized that is by no means finished, but here it is,  as is.

A close up of the opossum:

One of the benefactors, Crazy Horse:

I began a new cloth which doesn't have a name yet:

Recently, at a high school reunion, we climbed the Pt. Arena Lighthouse (145 steps!). The view:

I loved it that in the gift shop were hand-embroidered tea towels of the lighthouse!

Yesterday four of the Very Small Books went into the mail!

A candle sending love to a very small boy who needs a lot of it:

And Gilly being a champ at her first agility fun match!

That's all for now. xoxo,~~s.

    1. Hi Jean, oh I hope things will calm down soon for you...you have definitely had more than your share of unsettling events. My dog Gilly dispatched that opossum...that was the look on its face.

    1. Hi Saskia, thank you! Right now I'm on the cross-country train, but as soon as I get home on the 22nd I would love to send you a book. I think it would be enjoyed by all your little folk! I will see if I can figure out how to manage an order from here but meanwhile perhaps we can email.

    1. Thank you Kathy! I have arrived safely. There are huge piles of leaves everywhere that the city picks up to make compost out of. When I was younger, we would burn the leaves (in smaller) quantities in the street gutter. I remember it as an unplanned neighborhood social event with lovely smells. Now I look at all those leaves and think...hmm, looks like an interesting project for bundling and dyeing. I think the boys might enjoy that! At least we could make a small brew...
